We are now in the Public Comment phase of the Centers and Corridors Legislation.
That means you can call or write your individual District Representative, and/or the City Council as a whole.
Here is a link to find your representative. When you email council@seattle.gov, every council member will receive your message.
The next Public Hearing for the Centers and Corridors Legislation is scheduled for July 23rd in the downtown City Council chambers.
You may want to get together with interested neighbors ahead of that date to decide what you want to see in your neighborhood and present to the Council.
Also, Several representatives are scheduling office hours to hear the ideas and preferences of their constituents.
And again, if you agree with our proposal, feel free to use it as a resource for your own neighborhood.
Currently, the final vote on the legislation is scheduled for August 5th.
Although, there are many variables between now and then and this target date may change. We will post any changes in the timeline here.
